The red dots are missions. To complete the mission, you have to kill all AI scavs in and near the location. Then a blue container is highlighted that contains loot from weapons, money, and clothing / armor.

The green circles are safe zones. You have 2 dealers in each zone and you can access your stock here. Note. Each zone has its own supply.

The gray dots are points of interest and can sometimes be high-prey areas where you can get items to build your base, weapons, armor, or even moonlight.

The black dots with names are cities and they are spawn points for your character when you die and want to spawn with RP (Reputation Points).

The greenhouse is your land claim in which your base is located.

The green box is your hidden cache that you can store on the map so you don't forget where it is!

You can place Shift + Click custom markers to remember an enemy base or a nice loot location that is not marked (there are caves and shanty cities!).

You get RP points by killing Scav and selling their dog tags to a retailer. The dog tags are not a clear spawn on a scav.
